Why Choose PhysioCare?
The PhysioCare Townsville team is committed to patient care and individualised treatment. We understand that each person is different, so we allocate extended treatment times of up to one hour for initial visits and 30 minutes for each follow up visit. This allows your physiotherapist time to sit face-to-face with you and take a thorough clinical history, forming the basis for a comprehensive and individually tailored treatment program.
At PhysioCare you will not have to share your time with other clients. We ensure our therapists work with one patient at a time, using a hands-on approach and preferring manual therapy rather than relying on machines for most treatments.

Personalised Treatment Plans
Every appointment includes a detailed assessment so your physiotherapist can tailor treatment to your history, goals and day-to-day needs. This approach helps you progress with confidence.
Flexible Care Locations
You can attend appointments in our Townsville clinic or request a home visit when suitable. This allows you to access physiotherapy in the setting that best supports your comfort and mobility.
Hands-On Clinical Care
We focus on manual therapy rather than machine-led treatments to support movement, reduce discomfort and build strength. Each session stays centred on what your body needs most.
Prompt Assessment & Treatment
PhysioCare works to maintain strong communication with your wider healthcare team. If your doctor refers you to us, your physiotherapist will update them with a clear progress letter. When an injury needs urgent attention, we do everything we can to offer an early assessment and often arrange a same-day appointment. Regular clients also benefit from prompt assessment and consistent care from our friendly and professional physiotherapists.
If you have a condition that needs attention or want further clarification, call us and our team will guide you through the next steps.
What Is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a health care profession that provides diagnosis and treatment to individuals to develop, maintain and restore movement and function of the human body.
Physiotherapists complete a four-year bachelor’s degree which qualifies them to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions and a wide range of respiratory and neurological conditions.
Using an evidence-based approach, physiotherapists employ hands-on techniques in association with appropriate modalities and individualised exercise programs to correct musculoskeletal dysfunction and normalise movement and function.
